C7000 platinum chassis and Intelligent Power Distribution Unit (iPDU)
Timo was looking for some info:
****************
Do we have any documents/guides that describe how C7000 platinum chassis and iPDU are connected together?
Customer asked and couldn’t find any.
**************
Info from Dan:
***************
The Intelligent Power Module for Single Phase c7000s has an intelligence module that sits between the left 3 and right power supplies.
This module connects to the OAs via 2 external USB cables (1 to each OA)
So the power supplies don’t change, but the intelligent power module effectively strips off that serial sideband from the blue power cables and then relays the pertinent information to the OA and vice versa (OA to the Power Module to the iPDU)
*************
Any other help for Timo?
