Connect Flex10/10d modules to a single switch
Hi,
A customer of mine wants to attach his blade enclosures to a single, unmanaged switch, ostensibly to gain access to his DMZ. Notwithstanding the obvious (no redundancy, etc.) is it legal to connect a SINGLE uplink from each IC module to one switch? No VLANS, trunking, SUS, etc. would be involved.
Thanks!
Scott

Re: Connect Flex10/10d modules to a single switch
A bit dated, I know, but my initial thoughts are that the modules may think they are being stacked. I guess this depends on exactly how "dumb" the switch is.
