DDNS and OA

Hello, I want to use using DDNS to self register my OA. I manually give an IP Addree to my OA, i don't use DHCP to configure its address. And I don't find where to give my DNS DOMAINNAME... I tried to enter FQDN name for my OA, but it does not accept "." in its name. I'm affraid DDNS for OA is only available if you're using DHCP. PS: I'm using DDNS for registring ILO and VC, which are using EBIPA (pseudo internel dhcp), and it works fine.
