Does the Virtual Connect (VC) Flex-10/10D work with VC version 3.70

Chris had a question:

Talking to Customer Engineer onsite, he is installing two  VC Flex-10/10d modules into an existing enclosure with Flex-10 running 3.70. Can the  Flex-10/10D be rolled backed to 3.70. It seems to me 3.70 was active when the 10/10D came out.

Any tips on using VCSU to downgrade the two 10/10D modules?

VCM v3.70 does support the VC Flex-10/10D module.

From Mark:

VC 3.70 or higher has to be running on the VC
Flex-10 modules or else the VC Flex-10/10D will not be imported into the Domain
and will be marked Incompatible.

Yes, you can add 2 Flex-10/10D as long as they are not horizontally adjacent to a Flex-10 module. So if you have Flex-10 in 1,2,3,4, you could add Flex-10/10D in 5&6. The Flex-10/10D will become part of the existing VC domain, you cannot have more than one VC domain in an enclosure.
