Embedded NIC not working BL460c
Hi There,
We have a c3000 blade enclosure with 4 BL460c blades running esx 3.5. Each blade has a dual port embedded NIC, a quad port NIC in mez slot 1, and a dual port HBA in mez slot 2. We realise that we will only see 2 NICs from the quad port card because it's in mez slot 1. The problem that we have is the 2nd port on the embedded NIC doesn't seem to be working, it shows as connected in the on board admin but when we create a virtual switch and link it to this port we are unable to ping it. We are able to ping all other ports when link to the vswitch. Does any one have any idea what might be causing this. All ports from all NICS are mapped to ports within the same default VLAN on the GBe2c switches.
Many thanks
Jeff

Re: Embedded NIC not working BL460c
Jeff,
Its not a dual port embedded NIC. Its two single ports. And I think... its broke.
