Embedded URLs in Onboard Administrator and Virtual Connect Manager - how to enable SSL
Krishnan had a Virtual Connect question:
*************************
Is there a way to change the embedded URLs in the OA (for access to VCM) and VCM (for painting the frames in the new UI) to use https as opposed to http? We do not allow http into the "management net" and the new VCM UI is pretty useless without those frames. At least in the OA to VCM event, there is a new browser instance and it is easy enough to spot the error and fix on the fly.

Monty answered:

The Virtual Connect Manager URL is actually supplied to the OA by the Virtual Connect modules and is displayed unmodified by the OA.
The architecture of the OA and VCM is designed to respond to the first web access attempt with the secure login page if SSL is enabled. This is just like accessing your online banking account.
