Enclosure Base IP Address (EBIPA) issue
Wen-Feng had a customer issue:
**************
In the OA, My Customer could not input to EBIPA menu. If Fill out the IP address then Click apply ….
Finally, show in error MSG
"An invalid device netmask was entered for bay 1A An invalid device netmask was entered for bay 2A An invalid device netmask was entered for bay 3A An invalid device netmask was entered for bay 4A An invalid device netmask was entered for bay 5A An invalid device netmask was entered for bay 6A An invalid device netmask was entered for bay 7A"
In the server ILO setting, customer has setting to enable DHCP and he want to revive IP address by DHCP from EBIPA.
Try to Cli mode, we can’t solve the issue.
**************
Input from Dan:
***************
Error says 1A, 2A etc which are Double Dense settings but your screen shot shows normal density servers.
Check the Side A tab up top or do SHOW EBIPA from the CLI
Also in the cli you must type 'yes' not 'y' otherwise the command will not work.
**************
Comments or suggestions?
