Error: Unable to access HPSUMServer service
Greetings,
When we attempt to do a discovery on a W2K8 R2 target, we are getting "Error: Unable to access HPSUMServer service" displayed in HP SUM 5.3.5 utility.
We have Windows firewall service not running and UAC settings are disabled on the target. There is no C:\windows\hp_sum folder and no HpsumServerW32 service listed in the Services list.
I have completed the troubleshooting steps found in HP SUM User Guide, but still get error.
Is there anything else I can do to get a successful discovery? We are getting this error on about 20 of our targets. However, well over 100 of our targets were successfully discovered using same credentials.
