ESX and firmware
Having problems continuing with the installation of an esx 3 server due to getting messages about needing 1.72 firmware update for the Smartarray E200i firmware 1.72 controller. Can anyone assist with this? Not finding a driver that can be installed in tar format and windows has caused reboot issues with server.

You may need to download the Maintance CD and search for E200i storage drivers.
It will have the latest Firmware.

Re: ESX and firmware
Well, it is better to download the controller firmware from the HP website, because the latest firmware CD has the older 1.66 version.
