Exporting VCEM license - out of the System Insight Manager (SIM) Database.

Andrew had a customer question:

I have a customer that has 39 enclosures being managed at one of their locations using VCEM 7.1.  They are planning to build a new VCEM 7.4 on new servers then import the enclosures one at a time into the new environment.

What they need are the VCEM license keys to build the new environment. (they did not keep good records of the VCEM license keys).

Anyone know of a way to export out of their existing SIM environment the VCEM license keys that are currently being used?

Migrating the database from the old Central Management Server (CMS) to the new CMS will also take care of the licenses. There’s no way to export the licenses from the VCEM database for manual re-entry on the destination CMS.
