Fencing problem
Hello Expert,
we have two bladesystem, one with ilo2 and another with ilo3. We want to configure them as two node high-availability using proxmox. We now have cluster, drbd, but no fencing. It always says, there is no connection between fencing device and node. The question is what is fencing device? Is there another physical device necessary for this feature? Or is it because the different version of ilo systems on the nodes?

Fencing is just a logical construct. There is no missing hardware.
Best I can tell from the error (I don't know Proxmox at all), the host NIC cannot ping/talk to the iLOs (the fencing device).
