Hello everyone,
We're installing ESXi 4.1 on some ProLiant BL460c G6 blades and within Virtual Connect we configured some server profiles with just 4 FlexNics. We have two Flex-10 modules and previously these profiles were configured with 8 FlexNICs.
The problems is that, after the ESXi installation, I still see 8 NICS (within ESXi) (even though 4 appear down).
My question is: Is this the right behaviour? I thought that by configuring the profile with just 4 flexnics, the OS will only see 4 cards.
Thanks!
Jorge

Re: FlexNics & OS (ESXi)
Thank you Sivaramakrishna. This is what I wanted to double-check. Thanks!
