How do I change the interconnect management URL for HP 8GB 24 ports VC FC module
currently it is having a default 10.176.99.44 but this cannot be recognised on my local net work with gateway 192.168.1.1 on comcast.net. Trying to set the local address from EBIPA which is not getting set to this interconnect module VC FC. the Management URL always point to 10.176.99.44 so this is not on the local network and not being able to access it

Hello,
You may review section "EBIPA configuration guidelines" of the HPE BladeSystem Onboard Administrator User Guide for more information.

Re: How do I change the interconnect management URL for HP 8GB 24 ports VC FC module
I did run the EBIPA CLI commands from a configuration file with the help of USB Key feature: in Insight Display
Save the Config to USB
Modify USB with below commands on a PC
Insert the USB into C7000 OA port
Reloaded the modified config
reset the VC FC module pressing virtual power button
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT 192.168.1.188 255.255.255.0 3
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT GATEWAY 192.168.1.1 3
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT DOMAIN hsd1.nj.comcast.net 3
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT NTP PRIMARY NONE 3
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT NTP SECONDARY NONE 3
ENABLE EBIPA INTERCONNECT 3
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT 192.168.1.189 255.255.255.0 4
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT GATEWAY 192.168.1.1 4
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT DOMAIN hsd1.nj.comcast.net 4
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT NTP PRIMARY NONE 4
SET EBIPA INTERCONNECT NTP SECONDARY NONE 4
ENABLE EBIPA INTERCONNECT 4
These commands are ineffective after reloading the config with USB Key and then pressing virtual power reset on VC FC module and still the management URL points to the default address 10.176.99.44 (Factory Reset address) and the VC FC module cannot be viewd on the local net with specified EBIPA addresses.

Re: How do I change the interconnect management URL for HP 8GB 24 ports VC FC module
VCM typically operates on the primary VC-Enet module unless that module becomes unavailable, causing a failover to the backup VC-Enet module. If you cannot connect to the primary VC-Enet module, try connecting to the management URL for the backup VC-Enet module.
1. Are you able to access VCM?
2. Are you able to change VC-Enet module IP Address?
3. Does VCFC module recognized in VCM?
4. Are you able to configure VC FC module in VCM?
