I have a question regarding blade server. We just got an old blade from our sister company, and would like to use it for our test environment.
I need to access the iLO of the blade, i have inserted network cable with dhcp on it, I know the IP, my questions would be the username and password, where do I get it?
Is it using the username/passwd of the blade on slot 1? If it is, then the default password has been changed, how can reset the password?
Regards,
Sandy

SolutionLook on the lid for a label that showswhere the dip switch setting is for iLO Security Override.
Turn it on.
Put the blade back in and use "Administrator" for the user and anything for the password.
Change the password.
Turn the dip switch off
use the new password
First thing I ever did on a blade.

Re: HP BL20P question iLO
I need to do this on Blade slot # 1 only? Or on every single blade on each slot?
Regards,
Sandy
