iLO5 Firmware after 3.00 Doesn't Display Storage Info in iLO
I have tested this on Windows, Linux and ESXi servers, All of my BL460gen10s no longer display Storage info after going to iLO5 v3.06, I have even tried iLO5 v3.09 with the same error. This is only happening on BL460Gen10s, my other DL Proliant Gen10 servers are not having this issue. I am still able to see the Drive info in SSA in the OS, or via OneView in the storage section.
Error Displayed "No drives were found in this system. You may need to reboot the host system to discover them."
I was running and tried the latest firmare and HPE Software:
- P204i-b - Firmware 4.11
- Smart Storage Adminitrator (SSA) - v6.10.14.0(C) -> last supported version for Blades.
- AMS v2.60
Only after downgrading iLO5 to v3.00 did the info display. I valdiated the latest documentation for iLO5 v3.09 and it does list BL460Gen10 as a supported device. I really hope HPE will fix this issue.

Re: Query: iLO5 Firmware after 3.00 Doesn't Display Storage Info in iLO
This does not help @support_s . This is just basic information on iLO5 User guids which are not even the correct verion for what I have installed.

Re: Query: iLO5 Firmware after 3.00 Doesn't Display Storage Info in iLO
Hello,
Thank you for the information.. If that happens only on blades, can you check with the latest OA firmware and Latest iLO.
There may be some compatibility issues if you are running on older OA firmware and latest iLO.
Thanks,
TAM

Re: Query: iLO5 Firmware after 3.00 Doesn't Display Storage Info in iLO
Hello,
Thank you for the update. I would request you to log a case with HPE support so that the relevant team are notified about the issue. This could be a version related issue.
It is better to report it through correct channels.
Thanks,
TAM

Re: Query: iLO5 Firmware after 3.00 Doesn't Display Storage Info in iLO
Unfortunately, we donтАЩt have HW support on any of these devices through HPE anymore otherwise I would have done this. It should be simple enough for anyone to reporoduce this issue with a BL460Gen10s and the latest iLO5 firmware.

Re: Query: iLO5 Firmware after 3.00 Doesn't Display Storage Info in iLO
Hello,
I understand your concern, but as this is a community forum, unfortunately, lab replications cannot be done via this. This also has to go through a proper channel.
Thanks,
TAM
