Installing Redhat Guest OS on vmware esxi 3.5 on hp blade c3000

I am not able to change virtual machine boot option from network boot to cd/dvd boot. even after changing the order from the virtual machine BIOS Boot settings.The Blade server on which ESXi 3.5 is running is able to connect to the cd/dvd drive though but the virtual machine keeps on booting from the network even after clicking "connect to cd/DVD" on the vmware infrastructure client.
