Interconect BladeSystem MDS9124e Switch

Hi.. I have a Cisco MDS 9124e 24-port Fabric Switch in a HP c-Class BladeSystem and need to connect 1 blade to a storage system in a core-edge infrastructure (mds9109 and mds9124).. can I just connect the server as if the blade switch was a pass-trough or what should I take into consideration?

If your switches are in same fabric, there is nothing special about blades and FC connectivity.

just do the zones and present LUNs from storage

Thank you, Jarkko.. the thing is that they are not in the same fabric.. the blade switch is new and I don't want it to "interfere" with the fabric I already have in the mds9509-9124..
What I want to do is use the HBA in the blade as if it was from a standalone server.. as if I connected it directly to the "outside" mds9124... is it possible?

no, the blade HBA has no other "route" outside the enclosure than the FC switch. But if you don't want to connect it to current fabric your only chance is to connect free storage ports (if any) to the blade MDS 9124.

Then it would be a independet SAN.
