Good day everyone.
I have a one BladeSystem c7000 gen 2.
I have 1 HP VC Flex-10/10D Module part number: 638526-B21 , and when I try to login in the virtual connect manager GUI dont let me and appear a message that is The active Virtual Connect Manager is not at this IP address currently and We will continue to check every 30 seconds. If you expect the active Virtual Connect Manager at this IP address, please wait." the firmware version of this VC is 4.85
I have another 2 Virtual Connects HP VC Flex-10 Enet Module part number: 455880-B21 firmware version 4.75 with this 2 I have no problems to login in the Web Browser GUI but for some reason I can login to start configure the 10/10D module.
I want to create another Domain to make Primary module the VC Flex-10/10D. is it possible?
Please help.

SolutionHi @Ferfox86 ,
By default, for ethernet, Module inserted in Bay 1 will be considered as a primary (active) module and module in bay 2 as a standby module.
If more number of modules are inserted, the module which is insterted first is considered as Primary module.
1) Remove all the ethernet modules, insert the HP VC Flex-10/10D Module in to the Interconnect bay 1 to make it primary and active VC. Please note, same model must be inserted in to the 2nd bay if you want standby VC.
2) Insert FC modules in bay 3 and 4.
3) Update the VC firmware
I hope, my post help you, if yes, please give 'Kudos' and mark my post as 'Accepted solution.' or reply with your issue and detail on module position with bay numberif still persists.
Regards,
Shiva_jr

Re: issues with HP VC Flex-10/10D the GUI Web browser cant login, in a BladeSystem c7000 G
Many Thanks!, I will try your advice and let you know to share with the community, If everything works, I can jump to another issue that is the credentials doesnt work, but I need first the VC Flex 10/10D let me do the login process. because when I try to access via SSH the credentials doesnt work. if that so I have to factory reset this VC Flex and then, try again to start configure a new domain and do the same configuration, just like the first domain.
