Mix Virtual Connect Flex-10 and VC FlexFabric modules in same VC Domain Group
Avi had a Virtual Connect module mix'n match question:
*****************
Can I mix 2 enclosure one with VC Flex-10 module installed and the other with VC FlexFabric.
In the FlexFabric module, I don’t use the FCOE option, only LAN.
All the uplinks are the same on both of the enclosure, but the Flex-0 with 1Gb SFP tranceivers and the Flexfabric with 10Gb.

Input from Fred:
****************
The rules for interconnect placement in Domain Groups are basically the same as for multi-enclosure stacked domains. If my domain group is formed using a domain containing Flex-10/10D modules in bays 1 & 2, then any other domains added to the group must have Flex-10/10D in bays 1 & 2. I wouldn’t be allowed to add a domain containing Flex-10 modules in bays 1 & 2 into the group.
Similarly, I can’t have a Flex-10/10D in bay 1 and a Flex-10 in bay 2. Nor can I replace a Flex-10 in an existing domain with a Flex-10/10D without redoing the domain.
