Has anyone been able to install Server 1709 on HPE Blade hardware?
If running directly from the the DVD (No intelligent Provisioning), the installation process hangs when loading the splash screen.
If intelligent provisioning is used the bits are transferred to the disk but the first boot of the OS after the initial boot files causes the OS to hang at the splash screen with the circling dots.
The ISO image was downloded from Microsoft Volume Licensing Web site
Below is the image's title.

Re: Server 1709 (Server 2016 Fast Track) on BL460c Gen9
I'm also unable to setup 1709. Tried 3 different Gen9 models, including BL460c. Setup hangs after "Loading files" screen. No BSD and no error, just silent ... nothing.

Faton have you heard back from HPE on your issues yet? I've tried every possible change in the UEFI and legacy BIOS but I'm getting the same thing like everyone else?

Re: Server 1709 (Server 2016 Fast Track) on BL460c Gen9
I have installed on several Gen8 BL460c blades. Both Hyper-V and full OS with GUI.
I know your problem in on Gen9, but thought you might like to know.
ISOs used.

SolutionThe release date of the update from Microsoft with this fix has been changed to on or about 1/9/2018. If you need the update sooner, you can request it directly from Microsoft support.
Contact Microsoft support and reference KB4055537
If you or your company have a support contract with Microsoft, then follow the normal process of opening a support case, otherwise,
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/assistedsupportproducts
Type 1709 in the dialog box and select either Standard or Datacenter
Complete the remaining questions to create a support case in order to receive the update

Re: Server 1709 (Server 2016 Fast Track) on BL460c Gen9
Thanks to everyone who offered their input.
We have several Hyper-V clusters running Server 2016. We were hoping to start using Server 1709 for our upcomming Hyper-V clusters. It looks like we will have to wait a bit longer to put into production.
