The impact of os built up with 10k and 15k HDD


If a 15k HDD mirror with 10k HDD OS 2003 is built. Will it take the impact for the temporary base on BL20p g3 Server?

It will work great, but only on 10K speed.
I don't sure you will feel any perfomance changes in you case.

Igor is almost right. The 15k drive will still spin at 15k and the 10k drive will still spin at 10k. However, the apparent throughput will be paced on the throughput of the 10k drive.
