Two Enclosures in a Clustered or Parasitic type environment?
Not a true cluster, more of a parasitic type configuration.....
We have a c3000 that is full; not empty spaces. We need to add additional servers for a new application/process we're implementing.
Is it possible, to purchase an additional c3000 and configure it to use the existing enclosures SAS and Ethernet switches?
Is there an interconnect to connect enclosures and share enclosures interconnects?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Two Enclosures in a Clustered or Parasitic type environment?
No, but depending on the config and your power situation, you could get a c7000 and move all the blades and interconnects over to that.

Re: Two Enclosures in a Clustered or Parasitic type environment?
The server bays are hard-wired to the interconnect bays, so using an interconnect is the only way for the data to leave the enclosure. In theory you could use pass-thru interconnects and connect the cables to the existing enclosures. But this makes no sense at all in terms of availability. The suggestion to buy a "bigger" C7000 enclosure and re-use your existing blades and interconnects is much better.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
