Updating HP blade network card firmware or driver first to avoid issues with VMware ?

Hi People,

 

When installing the VMware ESXi on the HP Blade server, I know that I must be using HP supplied Vmware ESXi for all of the builtin drivers that comes officially from HP.

 

but now I get confused again when trying to perform the Firmware and Driver update for the network card before installing ESXi 5.5

 

which steps do I need to do first and what are the steps ?
