Upgrading firmware on a P-Class enclosure
If I upgrade the firmware on the management modules and power modules in a P-Class rack. Will this have any effect on the blades running in the rack at the time. Or will I have to make sure all blades are off before upgrading?

Re: Upgrading firmware on a P-Class enclosure
Hi Koopa,
afaik there is no downtime needed.
The management module is also hot-plugable, so the blades can run even if you take it out from the enclosure, so FW update also.
So simply flashing the update should have no impact on the blades.

Re: Upgrading firmware on a P-Class enclosure
Once again, thank you Blazhev, I thought you would be able to do so. But it's nice to have someone confirm it as well
