virtual CD rom boot order missing
Hello,
can you please help me understand why virtual cdrom as boot option is missing in HP HW compared to Dell. Will boot via cdrom even boot from the bootable virtual cd rom?
Regards , Aditya

Re: virtual CD rom boot order missing
Hello,
You may use the Integrated Lights Out (iLO) virtual CD ROM feature to boot the server from it. You may refer to the iLO 5's user guide for more information.
Please note that the version of iLO differs from server genrations.
Upto HPE ProLiant/Blade G6 servers - iLO 2
HPE ProLiant/Blade G7 servers - iLO 3
HPE ProLiant/Blade Gen8 and Gen9 servers - iLO 4
HPE ProLiant/Blade Gen10 and Gen10 Plus servers - iLO 5
HPE ProLiant/Blade Gen11 servers - iLO 6
Depending on the generation of the server in question, you may search HPE Support Center for the relevant version of iLO's user guide and check the procedure for using Virtual CD-ROM .
