Virtual Connect and Heartbeat connection

I have a customer who has two c7000 enclosures with Virtual Connect Flex-10 modules. He would like to have a heartbeat connection between the two enclosures and needs instructions on how to create this heartbeat. He does not want the traffic going out to the core switches, just wants it between the two enclosures. If anyone has a document that shows how to do this I would appreciate it.
