Virtual Connect Flex10 - direct connect to NetApp Filer device - Fibre cable via 10Gb SFP (SFP-SR)

 

I need to know if you can directly connect a Virtual Connect Flex10 Blade Interconnect to a Netapp Filer SAN (or any other storage for that matter).  The Flex10 switch has the SFP-SR connection (10Gb fibre) - patching directly into the FC port on the NetApp.  The NetApp has trunked ports set with LACP.

 

Please put me out of my misery!  Thanks in advance!

Flex-10 is a pure ethernet module so you can NOT connect to any SAN storage array or switch.

 

FlexFabric can be configured to connect to uplink SAN FC switch but not stroage array directly.
