Re: Virtual Connect Manager

Without knowing more about your configuration it will be hard to tell what is causing this problem.

Is this a c7000? or a c3000?

Which VC modules do you have?

Which blades?

Which firmware is on the OA and the VC Modules?

Are there any alerts on the OA? or warnings?

So many things to find out...

Re: Virtual Connect Manager

As Steve says, not a lot to go on.

1. There is a problem in your profile called Bay2_Profile.
2. Profile state is FAILED, i.e. non-functional.

This would normally indicate that one or more of the objects you have assigned in your profile are unavailable/non-functional or non-existant.

this could mean that you have maybe assigned a non-functional VC vLAN, or SAN, or it could be a problem with MAC Addresses.

Is this the only error showing up in the VC Log??

VC in normally too verbose when it comes to error messages, because everything is linked to everything else. One failure normally generates a string of associated errors in other areas.

Try attaching a section of your VC System Log, (+/- 50 lines would be a good starting point for investigation)
