Virtual Connect/What's reset time at Port Statistics of Flex-10?
Jade had a customer question:
**************
IHAC, He’s got find, too many number of reset_time about Port Statistics of Flex-10.
User Guide describe like below.
Port Statistic Description
reset_time* Port reset time
but, I’m not sure about that.
As I understand,
Occurred counts of Port Reset (disconnection)?
***************
Reply from Vincent:
I haven’t found a better documentation of this counter, and I agree the user guide is pretty poor on the subject, but it’s almost certainly NOT a number of times the port has been reset, but a representation of the date and time when the statistics for this port have been reset, i.e. the timestamp of the start date since when the other counters for this port are counting. It’s probably in “epoch”, i.e. the number of seconds since 1-Jan-1970. The number in your screenshot translates to 4-Apr-2013 20:32:38 GMT, last week.
And from Alex:
Vincent is correct, the “reset_time” value is the time of the reset in number of seconds since the epoch.
