Reply from Krishna:
VMware vSphere Health Check Report v5.1.0
https://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-9842
For Monitoring, you have to use VMwareMon5 from HP.
And from Michael:
I use Alan’s vcheck to run daily reports of all VMware systems here - http://www.virtu-al.net/vcheck-pluginsheaders/vcheck/ - Uses VMware Best Practices and a few other metrics. You can tailor it to your environment by adding or removing plugins and running it as a scheduled task from a machine with PowerCLI installed. It’s community driven so there are new enhancements as VMware updates their software.
Mine runs at 4:00 AM-ish and it’s the first thing I read to get an overview of the systems performance and what is happening.
