How to change the IP address of Onboard Administrator and Virtual Connect for C7000 enclosure

Hi,

We are planning to move our C7000 enclosure from one datacenter to another datacenter. And as IP address of Onboard Administrator ,Virtual Connect and iLO will change to new IP address. Please can you let us know how we can change the IP address of Onboard Administrator ,Virtual Connect and iLO for C7000 enclosure.

Everything you want to do can be done using OA web GUI. First thing you need to do is  save a backup of your VCM configurations. This is done within VCM and save to server or desktop in case you need to restore VCM. Next I would connect into OA via CLI and capture the output of show all command.

Once you have this saved, you can use EBIPA settings under enclosure (back in OA GUI) to change the iLO addresses, gateway etc. in device tab. The VCM modules and VC SAN modules can be changed within the Interconnect bay tab.

Last thing I would change is OA IP settings. Change the secondary OA IP if installed then the primary OA last.

Please reference OA users guide and VCManager guide for your firmware releases to make sure there are no "gotcha's"

orgot to mention...don't forget to click the "Apply" button at bottom of EBIPA settings pages. It is usually hidden below the screen view....so just page down... You may have to click apply twice (or more) to have VCM and iLO for blades to change, but they will show up in right hand window after being applied.

And also how to connect EBIPA so that we can change the IP address?

And also is it possible in advance to change the IP address of Onboard Administra​tor and Virtual Connect and when it is moved to other datacenter and once it is up and running it will take this new IP configured?
