Microsoft release of their virtualization hypervisor - Microsoft Hyper-V Server Virtualization
The much anticipated release of the Microsoft Hyper-V Server Virtualization offering took place on September 8, 2008. This will provide another competitive offering to the crowded virtualization landscape. HP has done a significant amount of testing of the Microsoft Hyper-V product and the technical inforamtion can be found at : http://h71019.www7.hp.com/ActiveAnswers/cache/604725-0-0-225-121.html There are a number of technical papers on best practices for using Microsoft Hyper-V, using it on BladeSystem architectures, etc. Please let me know if they are useful.
