802.1x / VLAN Problems with AP530
Hi!
We run several AP530 with 802.1x to access the office vlan. We have the problem that Win XP and Vista Clients won't get a IP Address from the DHCP. If we configured the Clients with a static IP Address the Clients will also got no access to the Network.
There are also 2 other SSID/VLAN's definied on the Access Points. The clients will get there also IP Address fom the same DHCP Server. We worked the only with WPA2-PSK. Instead of the 802.1x VLAN the other both VLAN's will work fine.
802.1x Settings at the wired part work fine, so the RADIUS and ISM Settings are corrcetly which described the EventLOg Files from the IAS.
It must be a problem with the AP530. All runs with the Firmware WA.02.19.
Thanx for helping.

Re: 802.1x / VLAN Problems with AP530
Yes we have the exact same problem on several of our customers AP530!
Some using 802.1x some using plain wpa-psk.
Clients loose their accociation and ip-address. if you do a repair of the network connection it works for a day or so then the same thing happens again!
I have been in contact with HP but never got this issue resolved!
