Cisco 350 Card Issues connecting with 420ww Using WPA
Hi,
I am having some very strange problems,
Issue-(1) When using a 420ww Access Point, with the latest (December Firmware). The Access point is set to use WPA.
When a Cisco Aeronet 350 Card (running the latest December 04 firmware) tries to connect to the Access point, the Access point shuts off its radio and complains about beacon transmission problems. this does not occur with any other make of card., but of course knocks out the network
If I fun the earlier Firmware on the Cisco Cards (May 04) This does not happen, but leads to another issue....
Issue-(2) With this earlier firmware, the Cisco cards connect fine, but when a Laptop enters suspend mode, and is then woken up, not only does the Cisco card disconnect from the Access point, but so does any other card (regardless of make), knocking out the WLAN for a moment. The Wireless access point does not register any errors, and the radio remains active. All cards can then connect normally.
None of these problems occur when WEP Is used, only WPA (in both PSK and enterprise modes)
It is not related to Laptop (which are all running XP SP2 using windows zero Config) As I have tried different brands/makes
The same thing also occurs with different Cisco cards, and different 420 access points
I am starting to pull my hair out about this. Can anyone help? I would like to use WPA, but have a huge installed base of Cisco Aeronet cards
Many thanks

Hello Richard,
What does Cisco say about this? Do you have the same problem with other AP's (not 420wl)?
Regards,
SCOOTER
