CP-2E locking up, event log has 'unexpected access messages'
I have a CP-2E wired cable/dsl router, I seem
to be having a strange issue where it keeps locking up on me for no apparent reason.
Basically, I'll be happily surfing along, and out of nowhere, it'll lock up. At this point I can't ping the gateway which I have configured as 192.168.1.1. I also can't access it via http at that point either. I've got the most updated firmware, I believe, but I also can't seem to find any real detail on the problem I'm having in the event log.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Is there a way to fix this? I've surmised, quite possibly incorrectly, that the NAT function is possibly generating return ports that the firewall portion of the router doesn't like, and is therefore locking up. I could be severly wrong, having no way to tell *precisely* what's happening with the device.
I've pasted in my event log in the event that it helps someone who knows more tell me what's wrong.
Also, I'm wondering if there's a support group with HP that covers this product, or if my only resolution is to go buy a DI-604 and be done with it? ;)
Anyway, here's the log:
