Dlink wireless card
when i plug in the D-link Air PlusG+ Wireless PCMCIA card, the notebook can detect (Model: Compaq Evo N1020v) the card but when i install half way the notebook just hang only. When i goto safe mode, i can see that the card is detected the driver complety but when i boot into window in will hang half way too. After that i got try other brand PCMCIA card(model: Aztech Wireless Super G) also the same promble, but this time it can goto into window just show an error message at the device manager. So in this case izzit this is because the driver problem or the notebook problem?????? and izzit compaq can compatible with D-link wireless PCMCIA card?

Re: Dlink wireless card
Jimmy,
What does the computer do when you put the PCMCIA card into the other slot? Doesnt he startup either?
Did you tried the Windows Zero Configuration, without installing the software? Windows XP supports the NIC.
Let hope i could help,
Roderik.
