!Help! Wireless Problem in HP pavilion ZT3000

I bought a Hp pavilion zt3000 laptop pc recently. It has a intel 2200 pro b/g internal wirelss in it. I have connected to my network. It has been disconnecting continuosly. It shows that the wireless is connected to the network, but i could'nt load any web pages and couldn't do any work using the internet. I called the HP technical support and he asked me to update the driver for the wireless card and he made me update the BIOS too. It worked for some time and the problem persists when i restarted the computer. In my system tray both the icons (Intel pro wireless 2200 b/g network adapter icon and the windows xp icon for wireless connectivity) are showing me that i am connected to the network.but i couldn't do anything. Could someone help me with this problem? I will be very greatful.Thank you
