how can I remove Special Output Character Tags from my nodes

how can I remove Special Output Character Tags from my nodes

When i type ovtopodump -RISC node, some of my nodes appear with Special Output Character Tags like !, & , # or @ that are secondary or invisible objects, how can I see them to change them to normal?
