HP Pavilion dv4000 Mini PCI WLAN

Does the Pavilion dv4000 support other wireless mini pci wireless adapters other than the Intel 2200BG and the Broadcom one? I got a Atheros AR5400G WLAN but it would not detect my wireless network.
