Locating MAC address

Have just received a Compaq nx7400 notebook with a Broadcom 802.11b/g wlan adapter. I have looked everywhere I can think of but I still can't locate its MAC address. Can you help me out please?
TIA ... Greg

Also if your wireless connection is on, you can double click it to see its state, then change to tab "Support" and click on "Details...". The MAC address is shown there.

Re: Locating MAC address

Hello,

With the adapter on, open a MS-DOS window, and then type.:

>ipconfig /all ---using Win XP

Then you will receive all the information about the adapter, in this case it looks like .:

Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-17-A4-XX-XX-XX

Hope this helps,

Regds,
Just unplug and plug in again ....
