Loosing network connection after trying to make some network traffic

I have problems with network. After i start dl something or try to get something from my local network or internet i lose the connection to my rooter or any wireless rooter that i see it usually. Then i turn my pc to sleep and when comes back everything is normal. My room m8s dont have that kind of problem with using the rooter so i doubt that rooter is the prob. Any one can help me with this, have been searching the net and havent seen anyone having this kind of problem

You might want to mention what type of computer and OS version you have. Also what type of router.

I am using Windows Vista Home edition. And my router is Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G2. I have made serveral tests and losing the network is about of 200mb constant network traffic between my pc and internet or other pc

Forgoted about the computer. I am using HP dv5t 1010us, it has Broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi Adapter on it.
