monitor file status
Hello,
I am using two computers, computer A and computer B. In computer A,
a text file will be modified frequently, saying every 20 to 30 seconds.
I hope I can use one code (fortran,c/c++ or mixed) to monitor this file
status from computer B. Once this text file is modified. My code will detect it and then do something else. Currently computer A is a server and computer B is a client. Both of them can talk to each other by FTP.
Does anybody have any idea about how to realize this idea?
Thanks in advance!
