nc6000 and WLAN 500
I am using the miniPCI WLAN 500 card in a nc6000. The access point is a consumer Linksys model.
I loaded the WLAN driver per the instructions and did not load the HP wireless connection manager software since the nc6000 is running WinXP. According to the docs, the HP wireless connection mgr software is not required when the OS is XP.
XP successfully loads the driver for the WLAN 500. I am able to search for a wireless network, and the expected SSID does appear. However, the card is not able to completely connect. I say completely, because the connection properties show that the card sending n bytes worth of data, but there is no amount of received data.
Any thoughts?

Re: nc6000 and WLAN 500
I reported in a later posting that this was fixed with sp27732 for the nc6000
