Pda's Not Connecting to wireless
I'm new so go easy on me.
We have Procurve 420 AP running FW 2.2.1 and we are having an issue getting Pda's and windows mobile devices to connect wireless.
The AP are in a vlan id 2, with just wep encryption(128bit key) enabled.
If we have a look at the log on the AP the devices are trying to connect to we get this.
1 Nov 01 10:14:22 Notice: 802.11g:Station Forwarding: 00-18-41-31-c4-c1 Encryption key type=STATIC WEP
2 Nov 01 10:14:22 Notice: 802.11g:SSID 1 ::Station Associated: 00-18-41-31-c4-c1
3 Nov 01 10:14:22 Notice: 802.11g:SSID 1 ::Station Authenticated: 00-18-41-31-c4-c1
4 Nov 01 10:14:03 Debug: 802.11g:SSID 1 ::Station Deauthentication: 00-18-41-31-c4-c1
5 Nov 01 10:09:37 Notice: 802.11g:Station Forwarding: 00-18-41-31-c4-c1 Encryption key type=STATIC WEP
6 Nov 01 10:09:37 Notice: 802.11g:SSID 1 ::Station Associated: 00-18-41-31-c4-c1
7 Nov 01 10:09:37 Notice: 802.11g:SSID 1 ::Station Authenticated: 00-18-41-31-c4-c1
After this the PDA's just throw up an error stating they cannot get an ip address. But we have laptops using the same wireless and they get IP`s from dhcp.
Im a little stuck and don't know where to go from here.
Any help is greatly appreciated
