static ip for hp laserjet 1320

hi all...i want to assaign static ip adress for a network printer..the printer gets a ip address from dhcp but i want to set an static ip address for him..because if he is down for some time it will loose the ip address assaign from dhcp and then i will have to go to every client computer and fix it..

i hope my english is good enough for you to underastand:)

Easiest way is to connect via Internet browser to specific IP assigned from DHCP - it should appear web interface of printer. Under tab networking you can assign fixed IP.
Or other way is to make reservation on DHCP so even when turned off it will receive same IP address and so you can R.I.P. as each admin would prefer :-)

IP Configuration Method:dhcp, manual, bootp and auto...waht of these sould i use? manual?
