Texas Instrument TravelMate 4000E Upgrade to connect with HP products
Don't know that I'm in the correct starting point, but I need to get the ball rolling in the right direction. I'm attempting to help out my mother in finding a solution to upgrading her old Texas Instrument TravelMate 4000E (small laptop) so she can connect it to her new HP Pavilion 764x and/or her HP psc 2210xi multi-function printer. It's an old laptop (almost 10 years), but she bought it for $4100+ and is trying to get some additional use out of it. Any TI links, or additional advice, direction or comments in regard to this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Texas Instrument TravelMate 4000E Upgrade to connect with HP products
Additional info: Need to upgrade Windows 3.1 to 95 so she can do work on the laptop then have it compatable with windows xp and/or her printer. If an upgrade is not possible, is there a way to hook up the laptop to the HP printer without damaging anything? And lastly, the specs are a bit low: 486 WIN DX2/50 MHz, 8MB RAM. Thanks.
