Trying to get JetDirect 680n to wirth with Digital Sender DS-9100C

I recently purchased this wireless print server from you (Model JetDirect 680n) because it was mentioned on the HP web site as being compatible with the DS-9100C.

I am having difficulty getting it to work.

Whenever I power it up and configure it, it crashes our wireless bridge. I have to reboot my wireless bridge in order to get our LAN on-line again.

I am trying to install it in an HP DS-9100C, which according to the HP support web site, is a supported product for this print server.

I CAN see the wireless Print server and I can access it via the web page, but as soon as I attempt to use it in any way, it brings down my wireless network.

My corporate wireless LAN equipment has been on-line for 2 years, and has worked flawlessly. A week ago, I finally turned off the JetDirect 680n that I purchased, and no more wireless problems, except of course, that I cannot use this print server.

Any ideas?

When I installed JetDirect on my Laserjet 2200d, I first used the HP Download Manager which will check your computer and the JetDirect for any needed upgrades (including firmware upgrades for the JetDirect). Next, I used the HP Install Network Printer Wizard. Everthing worked fine. Both the Download Manager and Network Printer Wizard are available for download on the HP site.

Compatible cards for the HP 9100c are 600n 10baseT or 10/100baseT, 600n for Localtalk/ethernet, 610n for token ring and 615n for 10/100baseT ethernet.
Never have I seen a 680n wireless card put into a 9100c, or would I tell someone to try it. Not sure were that info came from.
Hope that helps.
