Unable to add default gateway on n4000
I try and add default gateway and get network unreachable. Although I can ping the default gateway. any ideas why I would get this

Other hosts on the subnet in which n4000 is located can go to the destination network?
I "yes", check the subnet mask and IP assignments (dns; wins servers) on the n4000.
If "no", then your router does not have a route to the destination network and does not have a default route.
Is the gateway IP address the same as the IP address of the router to which your Ethernet segment is attached?

the metric for the gateway needs to be set to >1 or the your machine will think the default gateway is local.

Thanks guys and I will check into it. I ended up editing the netconf file.
