Wireless Access Point WL410
I have just reloaded the OS on my Laptop and I am now not able to reconfig my WL410 access point.
I reentered the original config on the WLAN MultiPort W200 USB adaptor on the laptop. I have a reliable connection and can connect to other network devices/resources.
BUT I would like to be change the settings (add another MAC address to the ACL on the access point) but can't config Access point.
The AP manager shows the device with 153.69.254.254 as the IP address. My Ethernet adaptor has a 169.254.x.x address and I thought the AP previously also had a 169.254.x.x address
I have followed the instructions for Forced Reload Procedure, BUT I hold the Reload button in and the LED's flash but it will not to the ALL LEDS's turn Amber state for the release the reload button.
IS my access point stuffed or have I missed something???

Re: Wireless Access Point WL410
Hello,
I don't know if you are still working on this problem, but I wondered if you are following the directions in this document (page C3, aka 135 of 144) http://cybrary.inet.cpqcorp.net/ARCHIVE/PUBS/USERS/WL11MBPS-Users.pdf ?
It sounds from your description like you may be, but the timing of pressing the reset and reload buttons is very important to the successful forced reload.
If you have returned to the factory default settings, the access point will have the address of 153.69.254.254.
I hope this is helpful. Best wishes!
Lynn-Marie
