Wireless configuration with vlan
Hi,
I have a 5406 with 2 2648 switches and AP 230.
My ap's are in the vlan 2100 (untagged) What i want to do is to set the SSID in a different vlan. But as i read it is not possibe to set the switch port tagged when there is a radio port connected to it.

Re: Wireless configuration with vlan
Since the Radio Ports is un-intelligent they will forward ALL traffic encapsulated through VLAN 2100 to the WES module.
If you have configured the SSID on the WES to match to a certain VLAN it will tag the outgoing frames with the correct 802.1Q tag when leaving the WES module.
Just make sure to tag the *UP port in the switch with the same VLANs and it will work.
